It's downright chilly here this morning..34 degrees when I left my house. I'm not ready for this. Had to put the heat on...
Still waiting for Miki's lab results. They used to be on the website pretty early, but I suspect the lab is short staffed too. So I'll just keep driving myself crazy until they're done.
I have to work with Karen and the slow doctor today...so just kill me now. I don't have the patience for that.
And my grandmother is in the hospital again, for pneumonia this time, and she's not expected to recover. If she is well enough to leave the hospital, she's going to hospice. I feel for my mom...she and my dad are going to fly out to visit next week.
On a more cheerful note, tomorrow is 10 years since I brought Miki home <3. It doesn't feel like it's been so long, but it was definitely one of the best decisions I've made. She's just the best dog

Congrats to our AngelaJo, who was wed a coupel days ago!And happy indigenous peoples day! Or, if you like, Ciolumbus Day. Or both. Or neither. Whatever. That said:Look up jaguar videos. Seriously. They take on caiman like theyre skinks. I tell myself, that jaguar's got game. Be a jaguar. Or a puma, but hey, they're awesome also. But jaguars seriously end caiman like Dahlia does skinks. It's no...

Heljlo, I'm back! Wi-fi restored as of 0700! They're done blasting. A week of this for... postholes? Essentially, yes. THey should really just make rock walls around here. We've got the rock to spare. But some folks down the road suffered damage to their homes from debris. Damage, btw, is "food wrappers and stubbed out cigarettes". How dainty of them! ***Monday is Columbus Day AKA Mourning for...

I just got back from the recycling yard. I had a bunch of pool chemicals, old pumps and other stuff to recycle. Glad that's all gone. Going to retarp the pool for the winter and take it down in the spring. I'd rather have it gone now but my partner who tends to procrastinate is already swamped with winterizing and getting the driveway sealed. And, the tractor just broke down. It needs new pulleys and another drive belt. Kill me now....
A couple of days ago, I sent a complaint to BJs warehouse club about our local stores meat department which is consistently out of specials and other stuff. They responded by asking me for the item numbers so they can check on it. I am not their inventory clerk. I was very specific - the items in question are part of their anniversary sale. Can anyone tell me why headquarters can't figure that out....smh
One of my clients just relocated to TX. They left two robot litter boxes in the garage which need to be sold. I have one sold to another client. I have to go over to the clients house today on another errand for them. Going to pick up the remaining box and bring it to my house to get it sold. The other one will stay where it is until the purchaser is back in town. My work is never done.
It's a beautiful day here which will last (fingers crossed) all weekend. I hope everyone is OK. Waves!
