Never trust "we'll talk" in a relationship. Life lesson learned. The other person talks. You are TOLD.

I'm exhausted, ill, and quite done with being strong. So, today's advice:
Screw 'em.
Like that shower curtain? Buy it. It's your damn view when you clean that bathroom, right?
Want that book? Get it. Books good.
Need that extra serving? Eat it. Sometimes we've expended a ton of energy and we do NEED calories!
Hate that dirt? Put up folding screens around it and watch Hubby try to navigate house around his broken cleaning promises.
OK, that last may be only me, but it's been fun. Yes, I did do that. I love room separating folding screens. LOVE them.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Wonky on meds, whacked it.Now, as to fibro:A lot of reports are going around some parts of social media that fibro (and dang near anything else) are caused by post-Covid, post-flu, post-vaccinations, post-pick-something.1. Your risk of death or serious complications beyond "ow, that shot hurt!" are typically...

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
Today is my 16th anniversary in this house. The longest that I've lived anywhere. Not sure how I feel about it. I've really had a struggle the last few years to stay here. Sometimes, I'd like to just lose the responsibility and maintenance but having a sanctuary that I can call my own is something too.
Starting tomorrow, my work schedule starts to ramp up. I bought another dust buster for my work kit. One is not going hold a charge long enough to cover all of the appointments. I've labeled them "thing one" and "thing two" lol. This week will be tolerable and then it starts to get bad. The last weekend of the month is exceptionally bad for two days. Got to get through that somehow. I'm diligently blocking days when I reach what I think should be my quota for the day, Some quality of life would be nice along with less stress. I will have to be tougher with clients about booking in advance.
I am still really pleased with the curtains that went up yesterday. Quite a change in the room. It's already cooler in that area and they look nice. They'll look a lot better when I steam them in a day or so. The whole room is a complete mess with the furniture pulled out and pretty much everything out of place. I found metal tie backs last night that match the rods so I will get those ordered.
I need to make some returns today. Going to get that done shortly so I can be back home before the heat really ramps up.
Leo - I'd be making a big bonfire in the back yard or at the very least put it all in trash bags out in the driveway. I've been known to pitch car parts out into the garage. And, pick up cigarette butts on the driveway and pitch them in his truck bed. Infantile yes, but he's been asked multiple times not to do it. Hell hath no fury.... I'm sorry that the pesticide/stress has made you sick. Not surprised. Rest, drink one of grandma's concoctions. Hugs!
I'm now alone until about 6. My partner has left to see his dentist which is up in the thumb area of the state. Coming back, he'll hit massive traffic. No TV at defcon one for hours - yay!
Hi to Miki, Blue, Milily, PuppyMom! I hope that everyone is having a decent day!
I'm exhausted, and it was really hard to get out of bed this morning. Hoping the phone stays slow this afternoon so I can take things slow. My back is not happy for whatever reason, and tomorrow I'll be on my feet most of the day. Miki will be happy to go back to my second job though, everyone loves her and she gets treats. I'll be happy when it's not insanely hot out, which may not be until the weekend.
Miki, ugh, who can get out of bed?
Hello to evgeryone! I am drinking grandma's onion broth, and her mint tea. If that don't steam my sibnuses open, I'll have to resort to *shudder* horse radish!
My sinuses are opening just thinking about the mint and onion soup…
