Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.

Try and figure out how you might schedule in some blocks of relaxation time, even if it's sitting for an hour at a public library reading magazines, just time to put your mind in a different place.
Forcing extra exercise is sort of like punishment for being tired. Usually pacing i.e alternating rest and activity are considered the standard management approach for preventing and treating flares.
Please don't ever pretend to yourself you don't have fibro, it is a continuing condition although it varies in intensity. For years, when I wasn't flaring I lived like I wasn't really sick, and am paying the price for it now.
I send you my best.
What I hope to do next time I get some relaxation in is to light some lavender candles (Lavender is my newest obsession). I'm trying to find lots of lavender scented things to keep me calm. I also hope for a spa day sometime soon.
In the meantime, if you feel you are able, I would encourage you to pick up: http://amzn.com/1572248912 Most mental health professionals are familiar w/ this author and the text - it's one of the best out there.
