I can't remember what my b-12 was, but my doctor told me to supplement with a b complex vitamin. I also used to get weekly IV's with huge amounts of b vitamins in them.
VitD... 1st test results... A) below the desired range ( actually way below)
B12.... A) below the desired range. (also way low)
After years of trying to correct this.. the numbers still haven't moved up that much.
I had intestinal surgery due to worst case scenario of ruptured appendix. Now I HAVE TO have B12 shots. I self inject every week and it really helps w/ CF.
My B12 has never been low but my B6 has.
It has only been the last few years that I've showed up severely deficient in Vit D and was put on a prescription of 50,000 IU weekly for about 9 months. I'm still not up to normal and now I'm on a supplement. My deficiency has nothing to do with not being in the sun. I garden and swim a lot, spend a lot of time at the park with grandchildren, etc.
It might be worth noting that the World Health Organization raised the recommended Vit D3 level in 2010 and that made pretty much everyone deficient.

Last time I was checked I was normal on B12, but recently I've started taking it and it has been helping.
B-12 was extremely low, now on the shots.
