Has anyone tried vitamin D. My doc told me there is a new study about Fibro and vitamin D defiency. I'm having my vit. D levels checked. If your low on vit D, it can cause joint pain, muscle pain and a bunch of other stuff. A friend of mine, her mother has fibro and they gave her a mega dose (2000 IU or more)of vit D, now she is able to do things on her own and wants to do more.(She was not able to do anything before.)Hopefully this is the breakthrough we've all been waiting for. Make sure to ask your doctor about it, if he's good he should know about the research.

I am low in vitamin D, I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, I dont think its made any difference as I have been taking it for quite a few months, The amount you are supposed to take to help relieve symptoms is a bit unclear. You should go see your gp and ask him/her about it.. My own gp has said there is no guideline on the amount of vit d one needs, nor is there guideline on the rda.. you buy them in 400iu bottles.

i was so low on D that I took 30,000 unites per week (one time a week) for 10 weeks to get my levels back to normal. now I take twice the dose of other people. It helped but not as much as I thought it would.

I am on 2000IU a day as well, I didn't notice really anything with the pain so much as it helped me rest at night while sleeping. I have RLS as well and vit d and cal mag has kept me off of the rx for that

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
