Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I guess I just should not be part of this group I see it's not what it seems to be.
I think if you're looking for the bad stuff you're going to find it - try re-reading the posts and you'll find a lot of advice and concern here.
You are Most Welcome to Stay..all anyone has Asked is that you have a bit of Respect....you Can Easily Express Anger, Frustration Without the Derogatory, and Inflammatory Names.
I believe that you are so angry you are unable to control yourself.
It is clear that you are a few steps beyond anger. I would suggest that your first line of attack be on your anger. As others have said here, it is not the world's fault that you are ill, depressed, and in mourning. When you find yourself losing your temper, stop for a second and remind yourself that you are not really mad at that person/situation but at your life right now.
Find something to smile about. Literally! Find 100 reasons to smile each and every day. It does not have to be a full belly laugh to feel better. It can be a puppy or a flower or an old couple or you loved ones....Anything. Seriously, seek out reasons to smile. You will be amazed at how it helps you to cope with life.
As for your therapist. Perhaps she meant exactly what she said. Perhaps you are a bitch. We see the word bitch as a personal attack and something that we would never admit to being. However, Psychology will tell you that some people are just bitchy. It is their nature and they need to learn to cope with it.
So, I would suggest, instead of walking away from your doctor, think about what she said and decide if she is right. Are you a bitch?
If the answer is yes, then you have something to work on. Think about when and how you are bitchy and change it. Only you can change your own life.
If you are unhappy with life then change it. Look inside, study yourself, decide what you like and what you do not like and make the appropriate changes.
Now go out and smile at someone you do not know. You may be surprised at the response you get.
I look back at those times and remind myself being/acting like this is not going to help me at all...
As the saying goes...you can catch more flies with honey...so being sweet even if it is sugar coated can be better then a sour puss...

That's work WE have to do - no one else can do it for us. Sometimes in order to help others find the path, that means offering "tough love" and I believe that's what you're getting here - not unconcern but advice from people who have learned these lessons and figured out how to turn things around.
I really hope you'll come back and read the messages in the spirit in which they were intended.
i never responded to the core of your post,i will now...you are suffering with the death of your parents, ive been there,i lost my mom in 2005,it hurts,i miss her badly...your also dealing with depression and fibro...two more things added to your anger...i want to let you know that you are going through the grieving process of all 3 things and your in the anger stage, ive been there too....your therapist really had no good reason to tell you that maybe you were a "b%^*$#....when you told her you didnt want to be one...n
