Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
but maybe what she was trying to get across to you, in an unconventional way, was that she didn't want you to think that it was CAUSED by the fibro. I myself UNDERSTAND completely what you mean and feel, and I too BLAME my pain for many of my actions and reactions and for being depressed and despondent etc. etc. For, if not for my pain and condition, I would be a different person, indeed.
You Canot Change other People...Only Yourself..perhaps you should Start There...
Just Sayin.
This is terrible and I feel terrible that I did not see that in the first place.
I try to understand why myself and others are the way they are, could things in life that go wrong or the pain and suffering be the cause of so much anger and self pity?
I'm not trying to beat you up. I just want you to know that we all are fed up with the downslide of things.
But try to be positive and try to think of the good in life.
Please stick around things will get better and don't hurt Dave and me.
Fibro and DR I understand were you're coming from too. Some for thought is needed in piblic forums.
Please give a second chance.
anger makes you cuss,i see that...you really need to know that you shouldnt use racial slurrs like that here or anywhere for that matter.i understand you are angry and maybe ready to end it all...thats what i gather from your post...if you want positive feed back..this is not the way to get it....i know you want to be happy, you have to find it,its there..
there are good people in this support group, you can find them to be helpful...i do however suggest you take this post down or write one to apologize for your cussing...just my point of view
Lordy, must be Sunday, I'm preaching a sermon.
Hope you can get into a better place mentally.
I don't know really what kind of support you're asking for here. Clearly this was more of a rhytorical posting.
As for anger. I had a choice back when things were at it's worst for me. You have that same choice. Anger = energy...plain and simple. I choose not to waste my energy on anger.
I don't know your world. I don't know what your work is like, what your family/friend are like etc. So I don't have any answers on how to pull out of an anger pit.
But I do agree with the others....if you came here for support, please be respectful with your words. We all would appreciate that. For what you don't want to refrain from...use your journal.
It does sound a bit like you are blaming other people for what's going on in your life, and as others have said, the only person you have control over or can change at all is you.
I don't care what context it's used in - that word is so hurtful and hateful that there is no context in which it's proper. If you mean "trashy people," then say "trashy people." There is cursing, which is in the eye of the beholder and really doesn't hurt anybody, and then there's "hate speech," and that word crosses the line and is actually hurtful to people reading it.
We all need a good vent now and then - I've never been shy about expressing myself in whatever words are in my head at the time. My customary philosophy is that words only have the power we give them and cursing used as "punctuation" can serve to express the depth of our feelings - but that word - never.
I will say, ALWAYS ALWAYS LOOK FOR SOMETHING GOOD IN YOUR LIFE EVERYDAY. ALWAYS FIND ONE THING TO SMILE ABOUT EVERYDAY. LOOK AT THE POSITIVES IN YOUR LIFE.
I see one very POSITIVE YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW AND ONE YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR IN THIS WORLD WE LIVE IN NOW
YOU HAVE A JOB, that is something million of people wish they had and could do.
