ok let's see..... it's been a week and 3 days since i quit cymbalta? i think?
still having pounding head pain, brain zappss~ ~, crazy light and sound sensitivity, etc.
i saw my neurologist the other day, he felt so sorry for me that cymbalta has failed me and all that... he was hoping that the cymbalta was the answer for the daily headaches that no other med seemed to help. ....he and i both was hoping.
unfortunately-- he can't help me or start me on another medicine till the withdrawals are completely gone. i told him that the only thing that helps is the valium (my PCM prescribed). he said due to the nature of my headaches, he's not surprised. he had that look in his eye as if he were thinkin "gee, why didn't i think of that?!"
when i heard him say that i gotta hang thru past all this hell before tryin something new, it hit me. i felt like i had hit rock bottom AGAIN and that>> once again, a med had failed me. as always, gotta go back to the white board so to speak and try to figure out another approach. one of Metallica's songs where he sings about waiting for the sunshine "but the sunshine never comes" seems to describe how i feel to the T.
i decided to stop by this organic store on the way home and got a few oils: eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint. rub em on my head a lil here and there. it's all i got for now. came home and cried my fuckin eyes out.... when will this shit end??? i feel like fibromyagia is such a curse!
in other news.... once again i told Matthew that day, that if he even thinks he can give me the slightest attitude, i'm callin his momma and she's gonna have to send him home. cuz i won't let anything slide form this point on. it's either be supportive towards me or i'm callin the shots (or his momma at this point). that hurt his grown man ego. LOL
couples counseling starts today at 1200. thank God it's here!!!!
but as usual, i gotta take my ear plugs with me and shades if i leave the house.
i just wanted to let everyone know that' i'm so thankful for everyone's support. you all have no idea much it has calmed me down and helped me feel more positive. God bless.....

the metallica song feels so true for me too.. I want to be upbeat and say hang in there.. but $H&%^& I feel pretty much lke u do right now...
like been there tried that and it all just failed.. the one thing that that was helpin..yoga... requires effort and am not always able to make it...
But...truth be told... u are a day further into ur withdrawal...:)

I think of you quite often.... hate to know your going thru this awlful withdrawl... I know I have left the doc's office in tears... and the er too.. got treated horrible at the er last week..

This is what I'm looking into.
I'm printing these out and bringing them to my doctors and hoping one of the doctors can order the blood test that are available and if I test postive for any of them they already have meds approved to treat them while I waiting to see what happens next with the XMRV virus.

Omega 3, huh? i'll stop back by that organic store and grab some tomorrow. whatever i gotta do to get this monster under control.
LOL Matthew is upstairs vacuuming the room right now.... it cracks me up when he wants the house clean. i don't gotta worry about cleaning, cuz he goes right to it! he he he.... anyone need a "maid" for hire?? i'm sure he'll be glad to clean up for yah! lmao! other than his shitty attitude, he DOES make a lovely house wife, LMAO! did i mention he just cleaned the dishes? lol
anyways, the couseling appt was long but pretty cool. we covered lots of ground, just basic stuff about how we met, what we fight about, what happens when we argue, yada yada.... next appt is him alone then me alone, then both us together again. i think it's pretty cool.
i'm feeling so much more positive now that i have met the counselor. she's old and wise, and sounds pretty freakin smart. wise people are the best!

When you say brain zapps what does it feel like i have had constant head problems since i had a bad reaction to seroxat i only took it for 8 days but i have not been the same since in my head wise????have burning or cold sensations buzzing electric shock feelings etc was not sure if it was withdraws or just another problem!!!!!
