Afternoon Leo...our morning went to shit. Literally. We deobstipated a cat, which you should not look up if you're not familiar. He does seem to be feeling better after, but we found out afterwards that someone accidentally took home the key to the dumpster...so fuck our lives. It smells like enema in here big time.
It's gross and rainy all day, which does not help. And I basically just told my manager that I can't do the callback in the system because I *will* insult the client. That's not something that happens often, but I talked to the person Friday and she's basically joking about an incredibly serious situation. Cat needs emergency surgery and she's been calling around trying to find it for a cheap price, when it's very much a time sensitive, and preventable, issue (TW: cat is 5 and not spayed, gave birth to 2 dead kittens in July, hasn't gotten out or been to a vet since...went to urgent care last Thursday for lethargy/not eating and the cat has a retained, mummified fetus FROM JULY). She's joking about the x-ray as I'm explaining why this is a time sensitive issue and that the urgent care vet did not, in fact, say it was ok to wait until this week. So yeah...manager knows me well and said OK. I want to know if the cat got surgery, but I'm not gonna handle it well if she's still dicking around.
