OK, saw neuro, told him the KLONOPIN stopped all jerks but made me evil. So he said he'd add a new drug to take out my evil side effects. Thought great. Then he mentioned wanting to do TPI's in my neck! I said, "Uh, can't we just take another pill?" He said "No as this would prove if it were in my spine vs brain. My question is if the pills work, doesn't that PROVE it's in the brain? And even if not, WHO CARES? Geez! Needles stuck in my neck I just have a vision of Frankenstien! ROFLOL
But here's the hysterical part, the new med is LAMICTAL (lah-MICK-tall). NOW THESE ARE THE CAUTIONS ACTUALLY FROM MY MEDICINE INSERT and I about died laughing. Like I don't have enough health issues/concerns!
Patients prescribed LAMICTAL have sometimes been given the wrong medicine in error because many medicine have names similar to LAMICTAL. Check the tables you receive against the pictures of the tablets below. The pictures show actual tablet shape and size and the wording describes the color and printing that is on each strength of LAMICTAL. (So, like now I have to play pharmacist?)
Occasionally, the symptoms of depression or biopolar disorder may include thoughts of harming yourself or committing suicide (I do NOT have this problem so the pill will possibly help me get it?). Tell your doctor immediately or go to the nearest hospital if you have any distressing thoughts or experiences during this initial period or at any other time. (Does this include when I have to reconcile my bank statement and pay bills?)
Common side effects with LAMICTAL include dizziness, headache, blurred or double vision, lack of coordination, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, insomnia, and rash. NOW PEEPS, I already have constant headaches (on meds for that!), lack of coordination (on meds for that!), insomnia (on meds for that!), and I'm paying for a pill to help me HOW?
Thank God I go to see my sis's neuro April 4 and maybe he can definatively diagnose the PKD as she has. I will need to quit all meds for min. 24 hrs. so wish me luck! SHEEZ! Thank God for good meds! ROFLOL

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
Hope you find someone that does get it right, seems like they are using you as a guneia pig, lol.
Finally had to just give up on the meds, change to a gluten free diet, and just 'live with the rest' of the pain.
Not worth the trouble to me to be chasing the pills that don't work, around and around and around, lol. That's for me though, everyone's different.

Not too long ago my husband and I were watching a commercial about a medicine and when they got to the list of the side effects, well it was about twice as long as the benefits they'd been advertising.
Watching it my eyes got wider and wider as the list kept growing, until I said "Thats crazy! Who on earth would be foolish enough to take that stuff?"
My husband said "You."
It was a commercial for Cymbalta.
Good luck with the new neuro, maybe if you have a definite diagnosis it will be easier to find treatments that help without hurting quite so much.

Those stooooopid commercials for SMILIN' BOB drove me insane so just to be rotten, I called the number for the "free" samples. I asked a few questions, how long will it take to take effect, etc.
I finally just cracked up on the phone and told the operator "Honey, you can achieve the same effect with string and a cinderblock and it won't take no 6 wks." ROFLOL She cracked up as well. I then hung up. ROFLOL
Hope they taped that for training purposes.
It's "supposed" to eliminate mood swings. Well, it sure enough does. Went from evil to totally depressed. Well, I guess technically, that does mean it "leveled out my moods".....I only had 1. ROFLOL
