Wow, I can't believe how much you guys get done considering!! Dixie I wish I could give you the magic answer, or even be encouraging, but this is something that on days like today (I'm having a very bad day), it's hard to be encouraging about something that never really feels like an accomplishment..at least not for long. It would be different if I didn't have two kids and 5 animals, 2 are cats, 1 bunny, 1 Golden, and 1 poodle, although I think the poodle isn't really a member of the dog family and neither does he...:) This is how cleaning goes for me: here's a recent example.. two days ago,I was feeling great, and actually motivated to do housework (which for me is amazing in itself..but I do like and keep a picked up house.).it's just not always the cleanest)..anyway.. so I get a ton done, and man it does feel good, and I am even so grandiose as to make plans to finish the house the next day. Well..... the next day I'm flared up!! arghh! Such is my life. And how long does it take for my house to get dirty, hairy, and messed up?? Well, you can imagine with two kids and 5 animals. So if anything gets done as far as cleaning goes during the day, I've done well. There are just so many days that I'm just too sore, or too depressed, and I just lack the motivation. I wish I had a MIL like Msboni then maybe I would get motivated:). Okay, so I've blahhed enough on this post without actually saying much. It just feels good to connect, ya know? I love these posts though, I always get a good tip that I will use, i.e, the sock for dusting from msboni. Take care!

Wow your government actually pay for house cleaning.. I have found the best motivation for doing h/work is to turn off telly, put your favourite cd's on and get going. I know what you mean though, its hard to get motivated...

You have to do as much as you can when you have the energy and feel well enough to get sonething done. I go weeks where only the dishes and the laundry get done. Then I get the vacuuming done every other week if I have enough strength. Today I amazed my self by cleaning one bath tub, 2 toilets and 2 sinks, and did 2 loads of laundry. Now my hands are killing me as I type this. Next week need to clean the kitchen and the 3rd bathroom.

Actually hubby does about 80% of cleaning and 95% of cooking, so it leaves me able to do a 4 to 8 hour shift at work. On my day off, I putter around, taking lots of breaks. I don't like clutter so tend to dejunk often. I had a free coupon for a Scrubbing bubbles toilet cleaner (2nd one) and a free box of refills. I've yet to try them, but will soon! LOL Hubby and I do the dishes together most of the time, and I assist with folding, putting clothes away. He does the floors, vacuuming, yardwork etc.

It's our son that's the tornado in our house but even he'll pitch in and clean his room. :)

i canot stand dirty tolets and have to not let laundry and dishes pile up . but everything else gets done when i can.

Make hay when the sun shines! I clean in spurts. My fibro has me all over the place so when I have a little energy spurt I clean. I am going to try using the music hint and a little each day.

I can't stand a dirty sink or bathroom either like granny said so it is the other stuff like vacumming and dusting I need to work on.

I live alone so it is mostly doghair and his mess.
