So a new trend on the internet: Welsh is a romance language! NO! They hae loan words from Latin, same as English and German and Polish and anywhere else the Romans ever showed up for two minutes. That happens. Like, we get albegra from Arabic and it's been centuries since anyone speaking Arabic was in Europe. Please don't fall for the sillies, thank you.

Today's therapy is to Take An Hour Off. Do it. One Hour, just you, your fave stuff, and the world can go spin without you a while. OK? The laundry will be there, so will litterboxes, so will weather, but sometimes, an hour off the to-do list is what you need to get it done.

Another day, another ouchie? My bruised achilles tendon (don't ask) makes my foot numb. Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I have accomplished today's paperwork stuff nonetheless.
I picked up a client last night/last minute so I start work tonight instead of tomorrow. I am just not in the mood for it. One of the cats is an AH. But, like everyone else living the dream, I soldier on.
Weather is somewhat better today. Kind of overcast but not rainy.
My partner got his eye that is always infected looked at today. He had multiple blocked oil glands. That was resolved with a bit of surgery. Hopefully, that prevents another epic infection there.
I have laundry working. Need to do a couple of other cleaning things too.
Leo - I am sorry that your hand is so painful. My ganglion cyst is either OK or pretty painful. Maybe try a green tea poultice. That kind of settled mine down a bit.
Miki - I am so paranoid about overdraft. I'm constantly checking my balances to be sure that doesn't happen. Hang in there!
That's it for me. Off to make the bed and shower. Waves!
Chronic pain eats up so much energy—just getting through the day is exhausting. I’ve tried pills, stretches, gadgets… most of them gave me little or temporary relief.
What caught my attention recently was something that seemed practical: a small patch that uses body light to help activate stem cells already in your body. No drugs, no complicated routine.
If you’re curious and want the science broken down in plain language, here’s the video I found helpful: https: //youtu.be/Gj1smBhAkFY
- If it helps even one of us get through the day with less struggle, it’s worth sharing.
