Ask for a leave of absence for health related reasons. Sometimes if they have compassion they will help you with this.

I've found I cannot work at the efficiency that I did pre-fibro because I have to check myself backwards, forwards, and sideways, then wait a while and check it upside down, before I let anything leave my desk.
Fog may be the most frustrating aspect for me, and it's definitely the worst part of continuing to work. I have tools to manage the pain, but I don't know how to manage the fog.
Keep your positive attitude - it's a great asset no matter what happens!
I resigned...I am tired. No energy to even keep doing it. Have to leave justice in God's hand and walk away.
Just bought a new van last week and my stove went out today. They say night is always darkest before the dawn. I am really trying to stay positive that things will work out ok.
