Cloth moths. Clothing moths. Wool moths. Whatever their name, be they da*ned
Get the pehromone traps, everyone said.
OK.
They flew away from them,
AWAY
The traps came from pest control. I call pest control. "Huh, that doesn't happen." Well, YOU identified the fu*king things as clothing moths, YOU handed me the traps, this ain't on ME
A petty distraction, I know, but who doesn't need one right now? I mean, I wiped down my house with vinegar-water and peppermint oil and now it smells like pickled peppermints.

Today in history, in 1492, as Columbus was insisting that the Caribbean was the Java Sea, King Henry VII of England invaded France. When in ddoubt, invade France, seems to b ea recurring European political theme.
In 1870, Rome was made the capital of Italy. Bear in mind, Italy didn't exist much as a single nation until that point.
In 1876, Texas A&M (the Aggies) opened. It was the first Texan foray into higher public education and Still the only Texas college I know, LOL, despite all the football I watch!
And in 1920, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds played the only triple-header in baseball pro history. The Reds took 2 of the 3 games.

I say that a lot, LOL. But it's true! Our drought watch is lifted! We're safe! (for now)And I saw a chipmunk in our yard. First one since 2013. Why so long? Um... don 't ask.My cats are watching it through the window in rapt fascination. "Must hunt it. What is it?"***Today in 1863, Abraham Lincoln as POTUS declared the lat Thursday of every November to be a national feast of thanksgiving. This...

After yesterday I got nothin'.It was just the day that said "Leo, time to run away from home."
Saw the hand ortho this morning. I need a 3 large bone spurs removed from three different fingers/hands, 2 fusions and a joint replacement. Thank you OA. I got two steroid shots into the joints on two different fingers. Do NOT do that. It hurt like hell. I have to go back in a month. I did like the doctor. Although, I suspect that she doesn't think Fibro is a thing. That's a conversation for another day. Not considering surgery at this point. Just disgusted to have even more issues. Anxiety not great.
And, if that wasn't enough, I went and got my high dose flu shot. I can already tell that it isn't going to agree with me. Normally it takes a few hours. I'm already nauseous. Going to do my chores, have late lunch and go to bed.
L<eo - I hope that your day works out. I'm done with bullspit for the rest of today and possibly tomorrow. Hugs!
Waves!
I'm beyond tired, the past few days have been crazy. I got to my dentist Wednesday and found out they canceled my appointment because I'd had records sent elsewhere (for a second opinion that was scheduled for next week)...even though I confirmed the appointment by text, and no text or call saying it was canceled. Luckily they still were able to see me...I ended up with a new temporary crown, which for some reason required more drilling? And the technician told me that I should avoid chewing on that side because it was a very shallow tooth (i.e. not a lot of structure to adhere the crown to), which doesn't exactly inspire confidence. But at least I'm not paying for it...otherwise I wouldn't be going through with this at all. But I need to ask at the next appointment what happens if the permanent crown comes off again, because I really can't keep doing this. The stress, time off from work, etc. And this appointment was in the afternoon, so the local anesthetic wore off a little after I ate dinner, and I was up with my lower jaw throbbing until about 1 AM. Yesterday at work I started getting a migraine in the afternoon, but I couldn't leave because I was the I only one fully trained in surgery who was there. Once we were done, around 430, I went home and I basically fed everyone and got in bed. Unfortunately Miki woke me up 40 minutes before my alarm went off because she had to go out...I can't get upset about that, she's on steroids and drank a lot when we got home. Could have used the sleep though.
Work was busy today and I just finished eating lunch at like 230 . Hopefully the afternoon will be fairly quiet. It's hot and humid but I feel like I could pass out right here.
