Let me know how it goes.
Sorry you have osteoporosis. Good luck with the physical therapy. I hope it is helpful.
I was given a ultra sound of my hands and feet, they were looking for inflammation, found only OA.
As far as Lyrica goes, it either works or it doesn't, I haven't got it to work yet, but many people have had sucsess with it. Cybralta will be th next Rx pushed my way, hope if helps with the FMS and PN...
Good luck with the water therapy, lots of fun! Maybe they can play music too? Just a thought...
Thank you for your well-wishes, all. So far so good with the Lyrica. Seems to be helping quite a bit with pain, with no noticeable side effects.

Any way, I have had some success with Lyrica and I am Bipolar so I was already on an antidepressant when I started treatment and the doc switched my to Cymbalta - so far it was been ok - although I think that it has probably helped more with my MP than the fibro. But maybe that is the point...if our moods are more stable than our fibro will improve - hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Water therapy was AWESOME for me! I really gained core strength and that helped my balance a lot. Not to mention the fact that it is like being in a great big, warm bath for an hour!
I hope your meds and therapy make you feel better!!
I was diagnosed with osteopenia recently after I banged my foot and broke two toes and my fourth metatarsal so I kind of know what it's like to get yet another diagnosis when it feels like the last thing you need.
There are treatments for bone thinning so its better to know and treat it, rather than not know and have it continue to progress.
Interested in hearing how you feel about the music therapy after a few more treatments. I've discovered that with PT, sometimes it doesn't feel like its doing anything at the time, but the effects can be cumulative.
