Morning everyone, yesterday was a rough day, I was insanely tired and painful, plus anxious about Miki. My mom said that she figured Miki would be fine there because my dad called her when she went near the woodpile and she came. He told me he's been standing by the woodpile when she's there, becauseshe wouldn't necessarily come if a dog walked by. Luckily I picked her up and my mom remarked on how much better she was around other dogs on walks. Took that as an opportunity to promote positive reinforcement training. I got home and got a coat of paint on the door and then had to mediate things between the cats. Nox has been a bit inconsistent-especially when Noah is moving around. He's laid 2 feet away from him and also gone after him so idk what's up with him. I'm hoping that when we get back to the normal routine this weekend things will improve, but at least Noah isn't acting like he's traumatized this time around. I had to get up at 4 again this morning for work and I'm working 11.5 hours in the MA office (that's not close to my house)so Miki is at work with me today. I also suspect I have tendinitis in my left arm, I'm genuinely not sure why-if it was my right arm I wouldn't be surprised because I've been using a screwdriver a lot for the doors and stuff. My left arm hasn't done anything out of the ordinary. Sorry for not making this more interesting. I'm so sleep deprived (I need more sleep after long runs or races because of the physical stress on my body and I'm sleeping way less than normal) and I had a few nightmares last night. My brain is in a weird and kind of dark place today. I just need this week to be over.
At least Alli was happy to see me this morning, she likes to roll on the floor when she's excited

My cat is going on trial for crimes against skink-anity. SIX in six weeks. Three this last week alone. The crack is maybe 1/4 inche wide. Maybe. Skink skitters past, her paw shoots out, her claw hooks in, she yanks, and somehow, having defied physics... WHAM. Skink-o-rama.Now, don't get me wrong, it's nice that she's a pesticidal maniac, but OMG. Skinks do no harm. They don't come inside. WTF.So,...

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. (See: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte for a grotesquely racist version of it, and Charlotte Perkins...
