OK, sleep deprived fibro-fog comming on...I don't remember the exact name for the illness, but I can remember everything about the illness...OK, the whole swollen lymph node thing could be the illness that gets confused with Fibro allot! It has all the symptoms of Fibro, but in your tender points you can actually feel lumps! I read you can get swollen lymph nodes with this illness! I'm sure I'll either remember the name or someone will be kind enough to fill in the blank for me or both! In any account, you should get checked out for this! Just look up the illness that is exactly like fibro, except your tender points are actual lumps under the skin!

have swollen glands all over my body , but using deodrants can make it worse. try using a health shop deodrant with no chemicals. i hve fibro and me.hopethis helps u

It is CFS, chronic fatigue syndrome, that causes swollen lymph nodes. I have had chronic swollen nodes under my chin for many years, no doc has figured out why and I think it might be CFS.

If it's a new symtpom, get it checked out. It could be totally unrelated to Fibro.

I've had Fibro for 25 years and only have swollen lymph glands in my neck.

Don't take a chance it's something more serious.

I am going to call my doctor on Monday.

I'm glad to hear you are getting it checked out. I also have swolen glands in my armpit from time to time but it is from irritation from the body brace I wear. My brother had swollen lymph nodes 15 years ago. The first Dr he went to diagnosed him with cat scratch fever {I didn't know that was a real thing. I thought it was just a Ted Nugent song!}He went to a different Dr and found out he had Hodgekins 2nd stage. He is fine now. I'm sure you don't have that but it is always best to get any new symptom checked out. Good Luck to you.

Oh man! HA! my boyfriend and I were talking about this subject just the other day and I told him I knew someone who got true and honest "Cat Scratch Fever!" He's truly a smart man, but he looked at me and said..."Isn't that the Ted Nugent song?" HA! I thought the same thing up until this person I knew got "Cat Scratch Fever!"

That is something to check into! That can lead to swollen lymph nodes as one of the symptoms as well!

Lymph nodes is where all my problems started. Last summer I had one taken out of my armpit and a tumor taken out of my breast. Things have not been the same sinse. I still have swollen glands all over but the Dr. says I'm ok. I never have gotten over the surgery. And even now a year later the scares hurt.

I probably want spell this correctly but it is called myofascial. To my understanding it is a calcium bill up that cause these knotty feeling under you skin. Lots of people who has fibro also have this problem I do too.

My lymph nodes have been very sensitive and easily enlarge for as long as I can remember. I had as a young child a poor immune system, which is probably why my lymphs acted the way they did. Also, my tonsils and adenoids were removed and they are also part of the lymph system so the rest has to compensate.
