Do most of you still work, or do you draw disability? I tried about 4 years ago and was denied all the way to the judge. My doc had even written letters saying he thought I would be a good candidate for it and gave all the reasons he felt that way. Needless to say, the judge denied me in spite of letters from my employers and my doctor. Anyway, long story short(well, kinda) I was humiliated and basically called fat and lazy and ended up with nothing but a flare that lasted about 2 months. All my dang attorney could say later was, well, that's how most of the judges are. Then I heard he went to lunch with him after he got done with me. Now, my kids(all adults) want me to try again, since I have gotten so much worse over the years. My hubby says, do you want to go thru all that again for a measley $3oo or $400? Personally, I am not sure I can take another round of that business! Anyway, I was wondering how the folks here got their disability. Example: Did you use an attorney, or represent yourself? BTW, I heard later that this judge was into a wee bit of trouble for treating people this way. So, atleast I feel a bit better. Thanks for any input. Hugs to ya all!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
