I called the pain clinic yesterday about my spinal shot not helping and that my muscle relaxant stopped helping even before the shot. I was told by the nurse practitioner through the phone nurse that it could be addressed at my next appt - WHICH IS 3 WEEKS FROM NOW. So I said whatever and goodbye before I said something really bad because I was mad.

So I calmed down and called back and told the phone nurse that the Dr told me that if I had problems before my next appt to call and the NP or PA would help me and making me wait until my next appt with Dr is not helping me. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So know I have an appt tomorrow with the PA. My expectations are extremely low since they have not done anything for me but stick needles in me twice and the shots have not helped. The first set of shots were into the muscles- toradol and lidocaine. I really believe I need an updated MRI of my back it has been over 3 yrs and that one was abnormal. I feel this pain clinic is not helping me and really does not seem to care about my high levels of pain in my lower back. I AM SICK OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the meanwhile, I am trying to get a new medical Dr. He doesnt seem to get fibro and I lost my compassionate rheumy in September and no rheumys in my area will treat fibro anymore even though they are still on the lists. Aot of the Drs on the lists are psychiatrists- personally I find that offensive.

Sorry for the long rant. I HAVE HAD IT.!!!!!!!
