After you shoot the low MF be sure to drag his body inside and claim self defense or get him inside then shoot him.
I know the housing market is down, my daughter is going through the same thing but someone bought her house, but location also, shes not on an island. I know a girl that did do a short sale on her house and took her 4 years before she could finance another house, Everything is such a mess.
Could you rent your house out the one you are living in now? You could make the house payments and make a little to cover expenses. I have seen ads where someone is moving to an area and looking to trade their house where they live for a house where they are moving.
I am sorry about your mom having problems with her, you are caught between a rock and a hard place. Of course you are going to move and when parents get older they get stubborn, They dont think of anyone but themselves.
When my MIL was in a nursing home we would drive 9 hours to visit her and we would stay in her house instead of renting an expensive hotel room She told us she didnt want anyone staying in her house while she wasnt there. We stayed there anyway and she never knew. Just silly crap coming from her mind and mouth at that time. I dont know what she was thinking, I knew it hurt my husbands feelings his mom said that but I reminded him of her age.
You might just have to walk away and have them foreclose on your house of course not good for your credit rating but you wont be the only ones that have done that or will in the future.
For your mom, you will just have to tell her we are moving and thats it. Sometimes you have to be the parent and treat them as if they are a child. SHe will get over it. Ask her things like what color do you want your new bedroom to be and what do you think of whatever pops into your head, Maybe that wil help.
I am sending good vibs, good thoughts and prayers your way.
It will all work out, it always does, Just the stress and work of getting it done,
Stay positive.
I think hooking your screens up to a battery so the crook will get a little electrical shock might help him out some,. Remind him hes an ass.
I, too, am so glad your mother was ok!
Hugs,
Elizabeth
I don't want to rent it out in case the HOA does go bankrupt. That would be huge trouble in the future and I would be stuck with the bill. We (home owners that faithfully pay asc fees) already are forced to cover a lot of the home owners that aren't paying and are delinquent. IF they do go bankrupt that mean the asc gets turned over to the state. they could shut it down and kick everyone out for only fractions of the properties worth. It would be a nightmare.
If I just walk away from the mortgage, they could sue me for the rest that's owed or put a lean on the property and send debt collectors after me for years. That's a nightmare, too. Not to mention I would have to continue paying taxes and asc fees on it till the bank would finally give in and claim the deed which could take years from what I understand. That could ruin me for 7-10 years.
The best thing to do is find a way to short sale it. There has to be a way... even if the bank is disagreeing with me. Oh wow... I can't tell you how stressed out I am.....
Thank for the prayers they mean a lot right now......!
A prayer for a quick turnaround and God's protection for you and your family.
You're in my prayers for peace and strength.
Magicpill seems to have some very good advice.
I hope things sort out soon and you get some peace.
Remember to take care of you first, try not to get in the middle of your mother and husbands difference of opinion. The only person you need to please in this world is yourself, without that inner peace you can not wholy please others.
big hug
I am praying for you... I when I say that.. i mean it... I do think prayer never hurts.... Please keep us updated.. i check in here maybe twice a week.... much love hugs.. :)
You've gotten some good advice. If it were me, I'd up and leave it behind. No home/finances and such are worth loosing family over. Stress, stress, stress!
What I do know is that if anyone is going to figure this out its gonna be you. I'll do my part and pray for you hun. Wish I could take your stress away!
Glad your locking your things up too. Have you filed police reports? If anything maybe getting extra patrols in the area would help.
I feel like the cops here are good for nothing. When my car got stolen 2 years ago, they wrote up a report and that was that. Cops here don't look for cars that are stolen, even though it's an island it doesn't go anywhere. My car has not been found till this day.
When we reported a thief came on our property and stole our surf board last month, the cop pretty much blamed us for leaving it visible. Even though we know who took it and found it in their tent (it was a homeless person in a tent), the cop said we couldn't press charges because we didn't SEE them actually take it. I told the police I saw the person casing my house, but he said it didn't matter.
So that's why I didn't call the cops this time around. They dont do anything for you unless you have the whole thing on camera.
The cops know that the crime around here has gotten bad over the last couple yrs, but they don't increase patrol cars. It has something to do with the state making budget cuts.
Our HOA won't rehire a security guard either because they are close to bankruptcy.
I just need to move on to another place and find a way to unload this house. It feels like so much pressure with hardly any way out.
