Eventually due to pain and Fibro getting worse, doc gave me Oxycodone for pain. Started on 3 a day @ 500/325mg., but I would cut them, and for a year I took only 2 1/2 pills. I would take a 1/2 a pill every 5 hours....it helped, went on Ativan 3x a day too. Then was in hopsital 3x for other things (which added more PAIN),and then a big mess & had to move from apt., and my son came to live w/ me again in my tiny apt. - he's trouble (28).....I got PSTD from it all, all alone, more stress & pain, so I was increased to 6 pills a day @750/325 mg of oxy. I couldn't believe i could handle it (I'm so sensitive, adn I don't drink, smoke or anything, so I can't handle much), and she added Xanax 3 x a day, because I was about to have a nervous breakdown due to it all & my son, etc. He's out 3 months now, I started Wellbutrin XL last month to help with my, now, depression - it seems to be helping...we'll see....but I HATE taking all these pills, and it scares me, but every time I try to limit myself, the pain or other symptoms are just too bad. So, for now, I guess I need it, but I hope to get off all meds one day. It's been 3 or 4 yers now with meds. I took nothing before that, not even an aspirin. Savella didn't work for me. Good luck xoxo
