I wanted to know if anyone else is having all the problems I'm going thru. I am so tired all the time, last year i started hving a lot of chest pain but the pain was different from the regular Gerd pain. Swelling in my legs and ankles with a lot of feet pain. The bottom of my feet are always sore. First the drs. ordered test on my hear but nothing showed up. Them this year my husband thought I was having a heart attack and was sent to ER and was told I had fluid around my lungs. Pulmonary specialist did not see this so she ordered Ct scan and was told lungs look ok, but have enlarger fatty liver disease. My PC ordered another test on my heart, this time I have a heart murmur and mitral vavle prolapse. Cardio said it's a mild case and will check me again in a year. I stop taking pan meds and was just taking cymbalta. At first it seem to help the pain, but now i am hurting so bad and afraid to take tylenol or mortrin because of mu liver and heart. I make an appt. to see my PC on MOnday. I just don't know what to do I also have neuropathy and had a biospy about 2 weeks ago to make sure I didn't have amyoloid. It was negative that God for that. All i feel like doing is laying down. Has someone had any of this and what did you do? I hope you can understand my writing, I'm just a mess.

I recently have had many problems, LOTS of tests but nothing showing. I have had fatty liver deseize, lots of other problems, but as far as why the pain in my shoulder , the MRI on my neck, negative, the x ray on lungs neg. and my heart is ok. I have a scope down thought because they think I may have a stricture, I have had gastric bypass last year. they think pain my be that or ulcer, but don't want the test because I have had them before and no bed of roses for that test and everything has been negative so far. Dr. Put me on extra muscle relaxers, baclefen and I've been on cymbalta, also its b een so bad i am on tramadal and he put me on something he said it was for nerves, gabapentin and said it was all he could do. I have had therepy and am suppose to go to pain therepy soon. I hope you find some relief !

Even having spasms in intestines and stuff! that is why the baclefen. If the gabapentin works I will let you know. He said he has to start me off slow. I am on so much stuff. yuck. But better that than this pain. I also have large problems with water retention in legs, prickly feelings in legs and feet and hey, add the arms and hands too. he gave me something for restless leg because i questioned that but now I wonder if I should just go off that med. carva dopa, leva dopa. any how hope you find relief..

My situation was similar to yours. I thought I had my FIbro under control and I was taking Cymbalta and Lyrica for the pain. However, two years ago my feet started hurting really bad and I had swelling and pain in my ankles and knees. My hips also began to hurt. However, my doctors found nothing different until I went for bio-identical hormone testing. It turns out that my thyroid was under treated. I was on Synthroid but it didn't convert from T4 to T3. I am now on Cytomel in addition to the Synthroid and I feel tremendously better. The fatigue is gone and so is some of the pain particularly in the hips, knees and feet. Be sure it's not something other than the fibro.
