you do not need to go to PT to get these benefits...especially if you have no Insurance, PT cost more then Regular Dr. Visits...
Look on line to find some good Pool exercises to strengthen Hips, and Balancing Muscles...it was the Last piece of the Puzzle I needed...if you do not strengthen Balancing muscles...you are going to remain out of whack...cause you will walk off center, putting more strain on one side !! GL !!
Personally, if I functioned better as a human being sleeping in an uncomfortable recliner than when I slept in a bed, then I would go with it. BUT it won\'t hurt to give the new bed a try. It might prove to be better.
Ultimately the decision has to be made on what is best for YOU.
I went to a physical therapist and he helped me alot. Also play around with the bedding, the body pillow is a great idea, I have slept with one for years. I also could not sleep in a recliner, because I cannot sleep on my back, I am a side sleeper.
or i have to have thre piloow stacked high under my knees! & a soft neck rollow under my neck can\'t sleep in no chair don\'t know how you do it! i do get up almost every 45min because of numbness wakes me up! & have o walk or crawl it out then back to bed!
Keep in mind everyone is different if you feel you sleep better in a recliner do it only buy your self a comfortable one. But you could give your new mattress a try for a couple of night\'s to see if it helps. I have a mattress topper for my bed as well but I still don\'t get relief from it. Good luck I\'ll be anxious to see how you make out sleeping in your bed.
