Sounds like you got valuable info. You now know you don't have sleep apnea and unfortunately you do have alpha wave intrusion, common to people with fibro. Wonder if the leg movements coincided with your REM sleep. Maybe you were acting out some dreams. Are the results what you expected?
Do you take medication for sleep and did you take it for the study?
Yeah, you should ask about those heart stops. Anytime a medical professional says I "think" they aren't really certain.
HUGS from down south :)
Glad you are looking into the heart stops - that's never comforting to hear!
They gave you a lot of info - I still haven't requested a copy of mine and have always been curious to see it.
Take care
I take Clonazepam and LDN at bedtime, and I did not take it that night, but just that one night I skipped.
I have pain and parasthesias in my left leg. I wish they would have told me if it was one or both legs moving. They did give a number, and it's higher than the normal average, but not enough times to be restless legs syndrome. I wasn't surprised. I often have to move or shake or pound my leg to relieve the discomfort, and I know I try to stretch it in my sleep. Sometimes all I do is tense it up and release it.
Now I'm glad I had it done. I had always said I'd never... and then I thought they really didn't get much info to make it worthwhile, but now I feel like they did...
I sometimes FEEL as if my heart is stopping just as I am relaxing into sleep. And I get periodic palpitations and thumps. So I just think there might really be something going on that needs addressing. OH. also (just thought of this) my fingernails are changing shape. They are flattening out. Not quite spooning, but still deformed and I read a book once which used that as an indicator of some heart problem (forget what, but..) so I think I might put a call in asap and have a little check up...
