It's an easy test, no worries about it. They only problem I had was that I felt bad having to ask them come in and unhook me a few times so I could go to the bathroom during the night. But they are quick, don't say much so as to arose you much and get you back in bed asap. I'd say sleep well, but it's better you sleep as you normally do, so if that's bad, sleep bad...you want a true reading of your sleep problems so they can help you out.
take care
gentle hugs
I didn't end up taking the chocolate bar (and I did know it was a no no, but I was gonna take anyway tsk tsk) I took a few little snacks as a security but I felt odd about eating there, so I didn't... went to bed hungry. LOL
It was ok, but ugh, all the wires and the plastic tubing at my nose.. very hard to REALLY sleep normally. And the mattress was horribly. I was sweating where I was against it (no mattress pad, yuck) and my hips hurt, and my back hurt, and I hurt like hell today!
He said I did snore, but not much; I did wake, but not for long.... sounded to me like it was basically normal (although I must wait till the doc sees it all). I noticed that I didn't have the heart palpitataions I sometimes have when i first lie down, and I wasn't up a LONG time as I have been before when I'm wakeful in the night. I think I'm out of a flare I had recently, and am doing pretty well, considering. That's certainly a good thing, but skews the info gained by tests.
So... probably NOT something I'll do ever again. I'm anxious for the results though.
