Silver (on the leash) out for a walk by my husband... with Hershey (brown & black tabby) joining him. Silver is 15 yrs old and has 2 cancers: squasmous cell carcinoma and lymphoma. His health has been declining for some time now, at least 2 years, with decreased appeptite, mouth pain, fatigue, and vomitting. But for several days now he's been feeling better (trying pepsid ac) and is actually up and around (as opposed to just laying in his bed) so hubby thought he should take him out for a slow paced, little walk around the yard. He really enjoyed himself and so did Hershey who happily bounced circles around him. If you're wondering why he is on a leash and not the other cat, it's because he doesn't normally go outside... or at least I stopped letting him several years ago when all of his complex symptoms began. Anyway, I wanted to share this happy moment with all of you :).
