You are quite a bit younger than I, but like with most any medical issue - it knows no age.
Be gentle with yourself and at times take baby steps to do what you need to get done.
Take care ... hugs
Hope you get feeling better.
I also think for alot of us they are not keeping us on antibiotics long enough to kill the problem and that is why they keep coming back.
My new neurologist ran all kinds of test. She thinks I have a weak strain of lyme with other co-infections and has put me on two different anti-biotics for eight weeks. Hopefully this will be what helps me.
Sending Hugs and Prayers that you feel better soon.
Kidney infections suck! so sorry, hope you are better soon!
I do think fibro wares down our immune system. so does stress.
Hugs & healing
I think our overwhelming fatigue is from our immune systems working overtime. I guess the fatigue is a sign that our systems are working.
Blahahahahahahaha!
My system needs to work better not more.
thanks so much for the warm support, everyone!!!!! xoxoooxxxxoxoxo
i'm slowly pulling through.... the labs couldn't find the bacteria in my urinary tract?? very puzzling there...... but i KNOW for sure based on the bad history of so many kidney infections i've already had, that it IS for sure a kidney infection {um yeah my kidney was throbbing in pain and i kept peeing a lot and the white blood cells were way up}. so regardless if they found the bacteria or not, the antibiotics are working and i'm getting better. that's all that matters right?
the doc got me on the antibiotics for 10 days so lets hope that this keeps the infection away. other wise, if it WAS NOT a kidney infection.... and i get sick again, then what the hell was it? and what was infected???? i had them do some more labs on me a couple days ago, so don't worry. if there's anything else goin on, hopefully THAT will have the answer. AND i have an appt w/ my PCM comin up on the 4th and we will surely go over the whole thing, and do another pee test i'm thinking.
ok... enough on my blabbering!!!!! luv you all! thanks for being there for me..... :)
