Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
You are not alone. I have horrendous pain at night too. For some reason the pain seems to amp up at night time. Hang in there.
Talk to your Doctor for sure.
I wanted to thank y'all for reading this and taking the time to comment or advise. You guys have given me some good ideas and knowing that others suffer at night also doesn't exactly make me "feel good" but....I hope y'all know what I mean!! I guess I don't feel so alone. You know it's weird, but my mom supposedly has fibromyalgia but she only has it in her toes! I have never heard of that before! And her doctor gives her 600mg of Gabapentin 3x daily and he gives her some sort of pain pills on an as needed basis and he gives her Flexeril! I'm seeing my rheumatologist next Tuesday and I will probably have to beg him to give me Gabapentin 600mg twice daily!! Oh well, I think just about the whole world knows my mom has below zero pain tolerance :-)
Thanks again friends! I will hope for you the same thing I hope for me: more and better research, more compassion and empathy, and someday a cure. Sweet dreams!!
