Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
And I wonder if this would also explain the fibro fog, memory problems, confusion, etc?
But fibro is so weird because I have absolutely no visual, auditory or even skin extra sensitivity (just muscle pain and fatigue and a good bit of fog.) I love loud music, visual sensory overload etc. Sensory input is one of the few ways I can still fully live.
Incidentally, as an epileptic, I do want to emphasize that you don't get seizures from bad FM or CFS, in case anyone new to this bucket of crapola is wondering. (And vice versa, or we epileptics would be goners!)
For the purposes of FM/CFS< however, the line from seizure to coma is a very good illustration for the two extremes our brains can hit. I bet this is why deep meditation can help chronic pain; it probably changes that threshold, even if temporarily. Hmmm. New questions for the neuro!
Smiles,
Leo
