tho Remember...tho our Muscles LOVE Heat...our Nerves and Blood Vessels Do Not..so Don't apply Heat for more then 15-20 minutes at a time !!
I'm not trying to be smart alec-y, or anything, but it's just basic Being. (and 12 years ago, I couldn't)
Our bodies were made to move. CFS makes you not want to. But you've got to - you've got to move it, move it.
Just don't overdo.
The first time I had it was about 4 months ago. I thought I was having a heart attack. I could not breath, at every breath I took the pain got worse.
I tried at first to walk it off, but that seemed to increase the pain so much that wherever I was I would lay down on the floor paralized in PAIN!
This rib cage pain seemed to get worse if one could imagine! It did, it seemed to be increasing in moving up my chest, even getting up to my throat, really scary.
A shower is out of the question because I can't move.
The only thing that "worked" is to just lay down, be still, breath slowly, a heating pad, and try not to panic, that only increases the pain.
I am already taking a muscle relaxer 24/7. I wish I had the magic answer for this, but I don't. If someone does please share.
Gentle hugs
When I'm having bad cramps and spasms like that, I will drink some tonic water. The quinine in it helps with them but its not an instant fix.
Gentle hugs....
Sending you some caring, calming thoughts.
Gentle hugs, Sherrall
It started up under the right side ,and whenever i tried to bend or stretch ,i`d get a nasty stinging pain ,which agravated the discomfort.
nOT TO Be direspectful ,but any (even mild) excercise makes this pain a whole lot worse)..I find resting helps ,with a slighly warmed pad ,or h/w/bottle does ease it a little.
Hope you all find an answer ,and some relief...mine seems to spread into my lower right side also..fibro...ugh!..Love and hugs to all...sharon xoxoox
