Well I finally went to a Rheumy this week to see if I was ok and to see if I was on the right meds and so on.
My mil thinks I take to many drugs and I sti on my butt to much. After talking to the rheumy he said that I have a better grasp of Fibro than most of his patients. I am not taking too many meds and if I want to lay down all day I should have that right. he sent me for blood tests and x-rays of all my joints to make sure there is nothing going on.. I told him what my mil and now my husband was saying and he sad he would write a letter to them explaining all of this.
Also had an appointment with a ear nose and throat doc and he gave me an antibiotic that has screwed up my system terribly. I am about to go out and buy myself some diapers because I leak from having such bad diarrhea and now my mouth is messed up. I think I have thrush. I get it from antibiotics.
Then I get a registered/certified letter from the doc that did my mammogram and they want me to make another appointment So I did that. I was trying to put it off til after the holidays but they want me in now. UGH!!!!!
So now I am just waiting for January 14 to see the counselor like my mil and husband want me to. But the rheumy said I was ok and that helps the way I feel about myself. He said to try and limit my stress down to nothing because I;m not getting better until I do. Only thing I can think of is to move out of my home and give it back to my mil and find somewhere else to live. Hubby doesn't want to do that though. So I li e with stress and wait for my disability to go through, no matter how long that takes and when I get it I take my 18 year old that they think is a lazy bum and move out whether my hubby wants to or not.
Whew sorry for venting but I am trying to see if writing all this down makes sense and ty to wrap my mind around what is going on, and to get advise on how to keep the stress level down.

Then got a call from my dad saying that he could only get our Christmas presents to Spokane so I have to drive to Spokane which is 5 hours from us because I have the only working car that can make it that far.
Then then the only thng I want for Christmas is for all my family to be together. My son is not sure he is coming because my daughter told him some of the ways that my mil treats me and my younger son so he is not sure he wants to come here.

I just came off some Strong Antibiotics...went a round with thrush..I used Nystatin, cleared it right up...no more Issues !! YeaY !! did you mention this to ur Doc ?
is hard to live with family...that alone would max me out...ur stronger then I am for sure !!
Know that you are thought of, and please keep in touch here...so we know how ur doing !!
I once had a doctor tell me on Xmas eve that I had hep C and that I would have to go thru chemo. It turns out that I didn't have it at all and worried over the entire holiday for nothing. So just put that out of your mind until you have to deal with it.
Why on earth would you drive 5 hours to get presents unless there is a million bucks in them? If he can't get your presents to you then perhaps they aren't important enough to have.
You need to get out of your living situation. It sounds like your MIL is abusing you - sending you to a counselor, etc.

It's hard to try to move out, but in the long run it will be so much better for your health. I hope you find some where to celebrate with your children away from her.
So sorry you are having so much stress...my rheumy told me the same thing...#1 thing to do is reduce stress! Kudos to your doc for offering to write a letter to the family!
Hope the antibiotic issues clear up soon, and good luck with the next mammogram visit. And hopefully you can get together with your kids for Christmas, even if you have to meet somewhere else.
