Funny enough though when we go to the train station my daughter was there. No explanations just showed up. So at least I didn't have to ride the the bus home. So now I am home and waiting for my hubby to get home. Thanks to all of you for listening to my rant. And giving me some things to think about. I appreciate your input and I am so glad I found this site!!!!!
I give you a lot of credit for busing your son home and not making him feel bad.
Now your daughter seems to have forgotten that this is Thanksgiving week. That it is better to give then to receive.
I'm with Andikins. I raised my son to be respectful of his Mother. I never reward bad behavior. If he ever pulled what your daughter did I would pull back. No money, no calls, no nothing until an apology is made by her.
It doesn't matter if she believes in fibro or not. You are her mother and she left you and her brother stranded. That is not right or respectful.
If she wants to do for herself and you to do for yourself that is fine but the bank has to be closed and anything else she asks of you has to be NO.
I would pray for her. She may need this lesson to grow up a bit. Best of Luck, Keleee :)
As for hubby - after you feel a bit better sit down and talk with him in private. Let him know your fears and what your daughter is saying to you. Let him know your true feelings. Nothing is better than the truth.
I'm very sorry you are going through all of this. Hang in there! Maybe do something special just for you - take some of that gas money you give your daughter and spend it on yourself at a spa or getting your hair and nails done or lunch with a good friend. Hang in there- you are not alone.
How old is your daughter??
If she's driving, shes old enough to know better than to treat you and your son like that. Its also not her business if your husband has been so busy he hasnt gotten to the truck yet. Again...NOT her business.
She was being very selfish. My boys were taught if Mom needs you and calls you, you better come NOW, or else the money train stops! I also use the guilt card on their butts, LOL!
Sorry Sue, just my opinion.
Hugs to you,
Laurie

I am so sorry that your family is doing these things to you. I really do truly understand how that is. It is a shame that families listen to the advice of other people so called "professionals" and they take it as a fact written in stone. The sad part is, they don't talk to other professionals about it or do any research about FM. My family said I was jsut "depressed" and that "it was all in my head". Although when my illness can be used as an advantage for them and something they want, they have no problem believing me then. Sighs, I wish there was something I could do. It is good that your husband wants to be with you so much. I know how it feels to be shunned by family. I am sorry your daughter wasnt of more help after all you have done for her. I know that if the tables were turned you would go out of your way to be there to help her in anyway she needed. that's what mothers do :). I will pray for you and your family hon. I will pray that God opens there eyes to your illness. I will pray for true understanding. I will pray for more patience, compassion, and understanding. I will pray that they are more aware of how you are doing and pull together to do all they can to take care of you and each other! I wish I could give you a hug. I am truly sorry. I hate feeling so helpless in not being able to truly help except to listen and pray. Just know I am thinking of you and praying for you. If you need me I am here.
