I take natural thyroid and adrenal support to aid my hypothyroidism. And one antiinflammatory in the mornings. It's working for me, but the biggest thing that has brought my pain level down, and my quality of life up, is that I pushed myself to go to work. I work a physically demanding job, and since I've pushed to walk and lift so much at work, I've felt almost normal.
Now I know this isn't for everyone, because I've been there. There was a time that working was completely out of the question. But I have been able to do it now for a while. I'm not saying that if you just push yourself to work, you will be healed. DON'T read it that way. Just saying what worked for me.
I was to the Point of Immobility...I could not walk, bend over, go up steps, I could NOT turn my head or use my arms for much, couldn't Raise them...Had been having Daily headaches for a Decade...Life was BAD.

Do you suffer from Anxiety ? Belly Breathing is simply Focusing on ur Breathing, making SURE to get Oxygen all the way to the Bottoms of ur Lungs...This is Not Deep Breathing as far as Expanding the Chest...OR Holding ur breath, this can make ya quite Dizzy...this is Just making sure to Fully use ur Lungs...

I tried Savella this last month because I got extremely fatigued for no reason (happening a lot with FMS patients) but I had to stop after 2 weeks because it was making my insomnia unbearable!!! So yes, it works on the fatigue!
I have been on as many as 15 medications at once, but what I am taking now seems to be working just fine. Maybe in a few months, I'll go back to some of my old meds, maybe I'll continue fine without them. One thing I do know, is that our bodies are constantly changing and what works for us at one time, may not another time.
This is NO Good !!
I Still get Anxiety...I can Control Most of it however thru Belly Breathing...and being around someone I Trust...was Worse when I had little kids yet...would Freak me out...what IF I passed out while Alone with my Kids ?? OMG I put my self thru the Wringer !!
What I did was start with my symptoms - what was bugging me most. At first the brain fog was so overwhelming that I was sleeping 18 hours a day. This was before the internet (if you can imagine) so I went to the library and checked out everything they had on brain chemistry.
Through a process of trial and error - while my life was going on (4 kids), I found that glutathione and choline could help my fogginess.
It did. I went from almost loosing my driver's license to the head of a software training department within months.
Next, I concentrated on the pain. We had internet by then so my research became much more efficient.
I found Boswellia while surfing ancient, herbal remedies.
In addition, I reasoned that to battle CFS/FM, my body would stand a better chance if it was as healthy as possible. I researched which foods could cause pain - experimented and came up with my personal list (we're ALL different). I researched which foods can increase energy, etc...
I researched my blood test results and found that I was lacking in a few areas but could supplement with certain vitamins to resolve these issues.
I recognized that our bodies were designed to move. I can't do a lot of that but I push myself to do something every day - as much as I can.
I employed yoga and tai chi along with meditation and learned to hear what my body was telling me.
One day at a time. There is no magic bullet.
take it separately (by 2 hrs at least) from your other pills n stuff as it weakens them.
yeah i totally hear yah on that getting off the meds thing.... i got off anything with anti depressant effects in it. so now i'm tired an mucles ache all the time. but i must say, the aqua therapy really made up for it. it don't hurt THAT bad anymore. i suggest you try getting some. not all therapy comes in PILL form....
but i just HAVE TO stay on the mobic, the gabapentin, and topamax. can't do with out THOSE! nope! i'll take the bits of side effects. just some tingling from the topamax is all i really notice but if that means i can get up in the morning with out feeling like my head is being pounded by GIANT hammers, then hell yeahhh!
oh and
-melatonin 300 mg (makes you sleepy) and
-valerian 1,600 mg (for deep sleep). (up to 3x that in one gulp)
sometimes i take em both when i really need it.
anyways.... i hope you find some answers here. best of luck with everything!
