I went to the pharmacy to get my refill of percocet a couple days ago. After the tech gave it to me, she said that it is getting way harder for them to get, and she just thought I should be aware of that. Well, in my foggy state I thought no more about it until I got home. Keep in mind, this is the same tech that pissed me off at a different pharmacy I was going to. At that time she says "Just exactly why do you need to take so much meds for pain?" It took me really offguard. Why does she need to know this? I did tell her that I have FM and DDD. She says, "you be careful with that stuff, it can actually KILL you!"I went right to my docs office and told the receptionist and the nurse what she had said. They told me that it was none of her business what I was taking it for. Anyway, after that, she was at a different pharmacy. So, now I don't know if I can trust anything she says. So, my question to you all is have you heard anything about percocet getting hard for the pharmacies to get? I am really worried and am going to call the doc and make sure we have a plan on what I am going to take if this happens. The dose I take is pretty high and it is the only thing that has made me be able to get around without the pain keeping me down. Thanks in advance for any input you have on this. Hugs to you all!
