Fibromyalgia Support Group
You're not alone in your pain. Fibromyalgia is a condition that can be difficult to diagnose and manage. If you're trying to cope with pain throughout your body, sleep problems, general fatigue, or other common fibromyalgia symptoms, you're in the right place. The community is here for you to talk about therapies and share your challenges.
I posted the recipes to make your own healing patches two weeks or so ago. I'll see if I can bump it up again.
80% of fibromyalgics who responded to a Fibromyalgia Network survey within the past year agreed that the only treatments that really helped their pain were Opioids designed to work in the brain and spinal cord from where our pain as fibromyalgics originates. Long-acting Opioids like Vicodin and Oxycontin were designed for exactly this reason. I have personally had great success for over 11 years on Oxycontin. It has never lost its effectiveness and it has absolutely no side effects in my case. I never deviate from my prescribed dose and never have had any problems with wanting more.
Of course I realize that not everyone can take these drugs for one reason or the other, but 80% of us agree that they are just the ticket to a much more comfortable existence. Without Oxycontin I would have a life of crying and squirming in the bed. With it I can go out if I need to and have some stamina at least because all my energy is not being spent trying to focus on fighting the pain.
Hope this helps.

Only you can know what is good for you or not good for you. Panic attacks are no fun and hope you can find ways to alleviate this problem.
Years ago when going to a chiropractor for my neck and back issues my chiropractor told me if you use a heating paind should do it 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off because heat can create swelling .... I know some who use heat then ice pack. And some who swear by just using the ice pack. Just something you need to try to see if it will work for you.
Some of us have problems with meds and some handle them well. Some prefer natural alternatives. If you keep reading I believe you will find various advice that fits most all areas ...
I have not really found anything that takes this away but try to find various ways of trying to cope with it better.
I wish you the best in finding things that will work best for you and hope you feel better soon !
take care
