The pain could be from a combination...I will talk to did about it. I have had nerve problems in my feet for years, since my 20's. I was dxed seven years ago with diabetes. Allergic to most treatments, I am insulin dependent.
In addition, I am on 600 mg of neurontin three times a day. Still does not help much with the pain. I doubt very much that I can rake lyrics or cymbalta. I have seen several people on them that have gained a lit of weight. U am obese and cannot afford to put more weight on. My did does not beleive it will benefit me. I need to do more r research on savella and there is another new drug out there also, I cannot remember the name right off. I will find it tomorrow and let you know.
BTW, I do not use the deodorant trick or KY-- pressure pionts work for me pretty well, and asd Katie said, ahem, my hubby is always willing to "perform therapeutic massage". *blush* Yes, I blushed typing that. But if you heard his chuckle when he says it? OMG. Dirty dirty dirty mind!
Oh, and if you drink that much water, that can sometimes cause urinary tract irritation, too. (Catches you coming and going, doesn't it? ARGH.)
One thing was left unanswered and with just over two months till my lucky dozen (my luck on hollween instead of a treat I'll be tricked by my body and have to start counting all over again) yes girls that delight that most every female has the joy of going through yes "menopause" or really Perimenopause.
Your GYN can be your best bud during this delightful time, or as I always say when in doult check it out.
As for an itch along the legs or under belly where there is scarring, I have found using vaginal cream the stuff you buy for a yeast infection, it worked instantly.
Susan, congratulations, on which ever it is. I know most do not think menopause is a blessing, but beleive me, I was. Not the easiest thing to get through but once it is over, it is wonderful. I started at age 30, done by 45. No issues since. I have always had bad female crap, so glad it is over.
