next time take two blankets fold one up & put in pillow case & wrap your body in the other & then seat on bleachers!

I struggle with this daily. I never know what my body's limits are. And I finally learned that I don't want to wait around for Fibro anymore. If what I choose to do, whether it be grocery shopping, mowing the lawn, raking leaves, cleaning, playing with my kids, or staying out all night for Black Friday shopping (which I'm looking forward to) and etc, it's all worth the pain. All of it.

I've said this before. Fibro is a twisted little disease. You never know what kind of day you are gonna have or what kind of night you're gonna end up with. For me, I would much rather go to bed in tears of agony knowing I filled my day with enjoyment than to ever not do something and still went to bed in pain and agony.

Fibro or not, life is still gonna evolve around me. I'm not gonna sit out and watch it go by. I'm only here for a short time and I'm gonna use life to the fullest.

For me, it's all worth it. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with your family. And my prayers are with you that you recover quickly from it all.

I feel that way after our 15 hour trip to see grandkids. I figure I'll hurt but that's still better than missing out on seeing them. Pain will go away but the good memories will still be there. Hope the pain fades fast and you have a good day today.

I kind of know my limits. But, unfortunately my job is the too much problem. I need to keep my job.

I Over do as well sometimes, I try to Pick & Choose...But FUN is an Absolute Necessity !! I have Learned to Pace Self...but Something are Just Worth the "Mini Flare" I Know I will throw myself into...Ya Know ? I Just get my Stuff Ready for a more Quiet Day afterward ! Course I no longer have Kids at Home, so a BIT easier for me..My Life can get a Bit TO Quiet...no Happy Medium it seems.

A Nice warm bath...Maybe some Lavender Scented Epsom Salts...Sad we have to Pay when we Play...but ya Gotta Play in Life !!

Oooh, I know how that feels. I am paying today for what I did yesterday, too. Hope you feel better soon!

We should have some sort of a alarm that signals our body's when we have hit our limit, for me it must be off or it rings to late so it must be broken:-)

Sorry this disease is making you so uncomfortable.. However, I was encouraged to see a seldom used word in your post: "imprecise". After seeing so much of the language cut into shreds on the internet, I just love it when someone shows their lovely vocabulary like you did. OOoohh! Just makes the perfectionist want to jump up and clap my hands!

Seems like little things like this just give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I read my replies in email and only sometimes open DS to respond, or look at others... I had to open and come say to Wonderbaby (before I've even read the rest of the replies!) THANK YOU ! I totally agree... I am not going to allow fibro to dictate to me. I do go out and do, and I take the consequences that come, but I'm never sorry for the experience I did have. I do hurt today. I took a beach towel and sat on that and put a blanket over me but I shivered and shook so much fromcold that my muscles are feeling it today, and my head hurts and my hip hurts and my leg is like ice cold wood, etc, etc, BUT we're laughing and enjoying the stories about the fun.

Tonight, we're goin to see our friend do an exhibition boxing match in philly. Again, maybe I ought to stay in and rest up, but miss that? It's his return *and* farewell match. We're going! I've never been, and I"m excited for the experience.

Now to read the rest of the board...
