Do you have any ice packs? Maybe you could put them in a bucket of ice water to reduce the hotness and swelling?
I stepped off a small step ladder and landed wrong on my big toe. It shot pain like I've never felt before and I was in agony. I ended up bursting a blood vessel and had a large black bruise. I didn't have any ice packs so had to put a frozen perogie on it as I could get that in the creases! lol
I hope you start to feel better soon.
yes the walk is most probably the cause of the pain you are having at the moment ...... duration, sorry hun, but it is like the question "how long is a piece of string?" , .......... you may get up in the morning and you may wonder if you imagined today or it could last several days ......... I hope that 2morrow you wonder WTF was today about :-0)
Congrats to your daughter, they grow up so darn fast :-/
Happens to me if I walk in flip-flops too much. I live in a hilly area up here in Virginia, and if I don't have good shoes, I limp for days, feels like my feet will crackle to pieces.
I soak in cold water with a splash of vinegar in it. It helps with the hot feeling, and the swelling.
Hugs,
Leo
One thing that helps me is filling up the tub with warm water and epsom salts and sitting in my shower chair while they soak. I find the epsom salts help a bit.
I hope your day gets better hun!
gentle hugs to you!
I have to be careful when replacing old shingles or putting them on a house I've built. The pitch of the roof or slant absolutely kills my feet and legs. Before all this Fibro stuff I could go all day but, now I have to be careful of how much time I'm on a roof. Walking up and down steps for a long period of time, hurts my chins.
The main problem's with inclines and declines are; your using different muscles or stretching ligaments & tendons you usually don't on an every day basis.
Hope you feel better,
Ralph
It's nice to meet you but under these circumstances, I really just hope you get to feeling better.

I may try these for work...they certainly look promising!
I am so sorry you are having foot pain. I have been diagnosed with severe bilateral plantar fascitis and tarsal tunnel syndrome, but I am starting to wonder if people with fibro all have feet pain, due to the abnormal muscle and tendon tissue. I feel sometimes like knives are poking up into my arches and heels. Orthotics dont help, but massage, tiny bit of klonopin, epson salt soaks, and Dr Sholls orthotics (the soft ones, not from a cast) help me a lot. Hugs, Raindrop
