I hope everyone here finds a solution to their pain. If you find anything useful, please let me know.
It sucks.
I was able to work with my integrative medical doctor and get better control of my fibromyalgia symptoms. I have reduced my daily pain levels to 2-4. I still have unrefreshing sleep, periodic flare-ups and stiffness, but I am far from what I used to be. I thank God that I have found a good regimen and I pray that you do too!
I have a blog in which I have a section entitled fibro tips that you may find helpful. It's www.kickfibro.com
I have sacrificed 99% of my quality of life in order to have the strength and energy to keep my job & because I work for the federal government, it's non-stop stress with constantly hearing from higher ups that we need to do more work, faster, no errors and no understanding of all the extras they throw on us that we're at a dead run from the moment we walk in the door until we walk out. Many of us put in time off the clock trying to keep up. It's just pure stress and there is never any recognition for the things we do very well but every mistake is COUNTED! LOL!! This is my first job in over 40 years where someone is literally counting my mistakes and bringing me a list of them every month. Everyone is human and everyone makes mistakes. On previous jobs I was always loved for my fast and excellent work. On this job, I am just stressed out all the time. Bet my fibro would back off nearly completely if I didn't work. And then I'd have time & energy to take care of me, my dogs & my personal responsibilities. That's really sad!
