I have cervical spine issues and am having my first procedure on Friday. Also seeing a Rhumo next week and a Pallative care Doc for Migraines which I have had for years and never had any meds.
I will follow up with you when I learn my options. In the meanwhile, hang in there!
Oh and one thing that does work for me is yoga. Restorative is great. Check it out. I don't know where you live, but if it is in LA let me know and I can steer you to someone great.
I want to comment on you second coment about hip locking up. This happpened to me many times until I started streatching and yoga. if I sit in a car or chair for more than 15mins I would go to get up and not be able to put weight on my leg.
When this happened before I would just wait till it went away. But now i have learned that if I streatch the area it helps it to go away faster and helps to keep it from happening.
Good luck, toes and fingers crossed!
I triedLyrica and cymbalta.I take neurontin which didn't do much but then he combined Ultram with it. Though it doesn't take all the pain away and some days are better than others, it has vastly improved. I , like you, could couldn't even lift a pan ,let alone cook anything.
Anyway maybe you could try it. Good luck to you......
