D-Ribose powder. I take this for energy and muscle repair.
Lidocaine powder mixed with Gardener`s Dream Cream. I add a tsp of lidocaine with about a 1/4 cup of the lotion. I use a sponge with a long handle to apply it to my body. This isn't natural but it sure helps withe the topical pain.
You may want to research SAMe, 5-HTP and other amino acids. Glutamine and CoEnzyme Q10 both give energy. B12 and other B vitamins are good for energy too. I give myself a B12 injection once a week or so.
Are you sleeping? You may want to get a sleep study done.
Have you seen a Podiatrist? If your spine or hips are misaligned, it could cause major pain as well.
Have you had major blood work and xrays done? You may want to rule out vitamin deficiencies, viruses, hormones and thyroid first.
Heating pads and ice packs work for the short term.
Stretching, aqua therapy, massage therapy, physio and osteopathic techniques work in the long term.
If you aren't familiar with it, it's used to treat myofascial pain where the muscles get knots in them that refer pain elsewhere. The knots are called trigger points and have to be broken up or deactivated in order for the pain to subside. The trigger point massage can be a challenge as the trigger points themselves are extremely painful, but if you don't deacitvate them, who knows when the pain is going to subside?
A couple of wonderful myofascial pain/trigger point massage resources are the book at triggerpointbook.com and triggerpoints.net. I use an electric percussion massage as I had one when I learned about trigger point massage. It works wonderfully as it glides easily over clothes so I don't have to look for trigger points, just massage anything that hurts. I've been doing this for 5.5+ years and can honestly say my pain level is no higher now than any other woman my age which is saying something considering I used to be in one degree of agony or another 24/7.
Are you able to go to a pool and hot tub?
Did you get your Intrinsic factor checked along with your B12? IF is checked to see how well your body absorbs B12. Are you taking weekly B12 injections? or 5,000 mcg sublingual tablets?
Do you feel the pain is more from arthritis/joint pain?
The Arthritin does seem like it may have all the ingredients you'd need. You could give it a try and carefully monitor how you are feeling.
Have you had your vitamin C levels checked?
Monitor how you sit and sleep for the next week or so. Do you get leg pain from sitting in a chair? If so a wedge cushion may work to relieve leg pain. Back cushion may relieve back pain. Stool may relieve feet pain etc. If you stand a lot, you may need custom orthopedic insoles.
