For those of you wonderful friends who prayed for my dd and who have kept up on this issue, asking after her, the doc finally got the results yesterday. Betsy does show signs of abnormal spikes in her brain and it's consistent with a benign type of epilepsy. I have to make a consult appointment and we'll go from there. I do hope they don't want to put her on meds. We'll see what's next.

Meanwhile, they've sent us paperwork for myself, my husband and one of our sons to be checked for this deletion, to give us more answers and possibly lead to any potential need for treatment or observation. We do live in an amazing age.
I have seizures...I won't lie and say it is easy...she will probably try many drugs, it is a trial and error process.
