I'm in extreme pain today from various reasons so I'm headed back to bed with my cat, a heating pad, an no intention of leaving the AC until it snows.

Welp, there was an Indian party In the park behind my house last night. People can rent the park pavilion for events. I'm fine with people using the pavilion as long as their activities don't impact me/the entire neighborhood. This went on for 5 hours. It was so loud that keeping the TV at a normal volume was not possible. The bass was insane; the windows were rattling. I finally called the police twice. They would quiet down for about 30 minutes and then get progressively louder. They had at least one Tutari (horn). I called the city this morning. They have been inundated with calls about pretty much everything lol. And, the group left tents and trash everywhere in the park. Definitely not getting their deposit back among other things. I told the city that I should not have to call the police to come out. The city is responsible for booking events and should have someone other than the police to keep an eye on things. SMH
I am taking my brother to the doctor later this afternoon. He seems a bit better. Used his laundry backpack, got down the basement steps and got his laundry done. Getting back here after his appointment is going to be bad due to the time of day. It is what it is... I'll pack a snack and a drink to take with me to enjoy while I sit in traffic.
Going to be 87 degrees today with more rain possible, Hoping for the rain! I'm off until Thursday! I couldn't sleep but I stayed in bed for a while this morning. Heaven! Waves!
