Yesterday was our big day and like always overdid.
Today I am just chilling out with herbal tea and leftovers.

Morning everyone and merry Christmas, or happy holidays if you prefer. It's snowing heavily here. We've got like 4 inches so far and it's supposed to go til noon. Yesterday was so icy I literally couldn't walk on my road (it's a hill and not paved, even though it's not very steep it was a sea of ice). The snow might actually improve walking conditions. Or I'll fall flat on my ass when I try to walk my dog. I didn't sleep well last night...overdid it a little with dinner/opening presents with the family. But my parents loved the drawing I did. And my sister got me socks that have the derpiest picture of my kitten on them-her with her tongue sticking out and big eyes lol. I guess it was from some website where you input a photo and they print it on the socks and send it to you, she had to stalk my facebook to find it. They're really cute so I'll wear them later when I go to my parents house with the extended family. Gotta say I'm dreading that...thankfully there will be alcohol. And my hands are really painful. A few more knuckles are swollen. I'm basically just watching it get worse until they decide to figure out why it's happening. Anyway... hope you all have good days and low pain

Trying to wind down after a long Christmas day here. A great aunt invited me to her house last minute, and because it was suppose to be a short ride, I stupidly said yes.... not knowing there would be road closures due to the local president visiting the zoo?? So we ended up sitting in the taxi for an hour and a half baking in the heat.

Then a cousin of mine picked me up and took me an hour of town to track down my father's grave. On the way home we hit traffic for 2 hours. Long story short is, I spent my whole day in and out of traffic jams. And you know how I had a bad cough a few days ago? Yeah, my cough was so forceful, I pulled a rib. Ouch. The cough is getting better but the rib still hurts.

Well, it's 10 pm and we finally finished our last load of laundry so we can pack the suitcases because we fly out tomorrow AM to Yogyakarta. Did I mention we have to hang dry these clothes because there's no dryer? I hope they'll be dry in the morning when we get up.

Merry Christmas everyone, my parents spoiled me and i love my new cordless very light weight shark vacumn and tfal pots nad pans (they are red to match my rooster theme) but mom is exchanging them tomorrow because they just got a set in in red that can go in the oven. Also i been looking for 3 1/2 years for a comforter with butterflies, i collect them and when i moved into my apartment did a butterfly theme, well mom found me one! YAY! We spoiled the dogs too. Loving that we got hte wood fire place going instead of just the electric one. Very calming. So far no tears today but yesterday was awful. Trying to take it easy my pain is so high.

Sending everyone a wish for a Merry Christmas with my brain fogged brain. I am by myself, but I haven't been feeling up to traveling or even much in the way of plans. My big idea of a plan today is to walk next door to the rec center where they are having a community Christmas lunch/dinner. I'm told it is good.

You all have my admiration for carrying on with holidays/travels/taking care of loved ones.

Received a sweet text from my youngest niece, so that made me happy. Also, there was a beautiful snowfall scene out my window this morning.

Hope you all have some reasons to be happy.

Merry Christmas to all. I’m in the ER with bad diarrhea. I think I got something in Mexico. It’s been going on for a week.

Going to Mom's around 6 for dinner and more presents.

We got 6 1/2 inches of snow with more to come today. I sure hope my road gets plowed before we leave for my Dads , I have been watching and hearing cars having a difficult time on my neighborhood road. I wish we could just stay home. Local weather says traveling is treacherous.

Ida - oh no the ER on Christmas. I hope you feel better soon. Hugs.

Off to make my corn dish and take a shower and I guess travel on bad road conditions - uh ? yay

My mom just called, got a bunch of presents from a local organization that makes up packages of wish lists for seniors who are without family.
Apparently, I'm not family. Love to know who set up her Christmas tree, bought it, and vacuumed her apartment every week for forever now. Guess Mom has an elf? Yes, silly of me to be offended, but I'd have been happy to give her those things for Christmas had I known she wanted them. *sigh*

Other than that, a slow and sleepy day here. THank goodness!

Hi. I’m back home after IVs and other meds. They said I did get this in Mexico. Travelers something, they called it. I have a prescription for cipro. I’ll get it filled tomorrow. My pharmacy is not open.

Hope others who don’t feel well get better soon.

Leo, that's strange for sure. But you know her better than we do and why she does the things she does. Hopefully she just wanted a little holiday cheer for herself and it had nothing to do with you. Sigh
