May-Thurner Syndrome, also known as iliac vein compression syndrome, describes a condition where pressure builds up in the left common iliac vein, a blood vessel located in the pelvic area, as a result of compression by an artery, known as the right common iliac artery. As a result of the bodys anatomy, the right common iliac artery crosses the left common iliac vein, pressing it against the spine. When compression is severe, blood flow within the vein is compromised and clots can form. The exact cause of this increased compression is unclear. These clots can eventually break away from the vein, causing severe health complications and even death.

and that describes perfectly a problem I've had in my left leg for years. I'm calling a doc to check into it tomorrow.

Now I tell them Exactly WHAT is Going On, I Give a Full List of Symptoms, and I make them Address it..I do get Ultra sounds, and CT Scans done now Every year to keep a watch on my Arteries..I Too have some serious Left Leg Pains.
Adhesion's within the abdomen can also cause compressions, clots..and I am FULL of scar tissues..
