I take 4,000 IUs of vitamin D3 a day as well and think that has helped my pain. I read in an alternative health newsletter that your body uses around 2,000 IUs a day so you need to take more if you want to build up your reserves.
This maybe means I'm going to ache for another week.
I take magnesium but there is no malate in it,thanks for the post and I will ask my doctor, so glad to hear that it is helping you.
The one thing about magnesium you have to careful of is that it's a laxative. You can tell when your body has gotten enough as it will give you diarrhea.
