We have to continue to live. And we adapt what we can't do to do something that we can do.
If I just sat here....I'd ROT. I don't want that sort of life. God has still given me the ability to do things....so I'm gonna wear this body of mine out...every moment I can.
He does sound depressed. Lashing out is one of the first signals.
I've only been on the receiving end of depression....so I don't know much of anything else about it. Except it can really morph a person into something they are not.
As for the avatar, geez, I'm a puter dumby....maybe the other girls can help.

We have to do what we have to do and it sucks big time!
Depression causes problems with decision making, everyday chores, and motivation. I know that we suffer with pain, and it is debilitating some, or many days, but if it is clinical depression, then he needs help in the form of medication in order for him to start living normally again.
I'm not excusing his behaviour, I'm just giving you a different perspective.
Don't stress yourself out. Try and sit down with him and explain where you are, and asking him to get help for his depression.
Devon, we have talked about it already. and he has began to seek help for his depression about a month ago. the meds aren't working he said, and i've noticed that he has now gone back to being angry ALL the time at EVERYTHING! i keep encouraging him to get a new psychiatrist. he finally took that route and we are waiting to see what happens next. hopfully he gets the right help.
No one can understand how we feel , unless they have it. I struggle with my hubby all the time over this issue , some days I can do what needs to be done , others...no way !!! I think when hubby was out of work and home for 3 wks was when he began to accept how bad some days are.
I hope you two can find some peace in your life.
