Some opiate pain killers, also some meds for osteoperosis, not sure if there are others out there.
I've know 2 people 1 in each category who found Benadryl helpful...not sure if this would work for you, so best to speak with your pharmacist 1st to make sure it is safe for you to try.
Hope you feel better, LuLu
Good luck!
When I first removed refined sugar and caffeine from my diet I had a significant decrease in the all over my body itching for quite a period of time, but as I said above, some times it returns. It seems worse when I lay down, especially at night, it really interferes with my sleep.
Also the air we have in our homes can be too dry.
Air conditioning and dry air heating in the winter can dry us out. Got to hydrate and drink water and moisturizer skin.
I do get itchy scalp when I am hot. Heat makes me itchy. If I'm sweating and hot. I get super itchy. Crazy!
One time I was waking my dog and I got overheated and the itchies came on badly. I was hopping and jerking my body like I was having some kind of attack! But the itches were so "sharp" it made me do that. I tried to ignore and mentally overcome it but it got too much.
I ended up seeing a dumpster on my walk ...I know it's disgusting but I couldn't stand it any longer and I rubbed my back up against it like a bear! I then made it back to my home to cool off and Shower.
