I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia by a rheumatologist, a pain specialist and an endocrinologist. Not one of them touched my body looking for tender points - it was just their solution as they did not know how to deal with my myriad of symptoms. I have just recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Myositis from a muscle biopsy by a rheumatologist who says fibro is not really a diagnosis! It is treatable in most cases with specific drugs. So i guess i am letting you know why i no longer post here and wish you all good luck and encourage those of you who are not happy with your diagnosis to keep on looking. I have been to 10 specialists over 10 years!

I take Mobic along with my Savella, and Vioxx was my wonder drug that allowed me to forget I was sick at all. It was a super-strong pain med and I'd sign anything they put in front of me to get it back.
