We dress in layers, keep blankets and throws everywhere in the house and car, I wear gloves even when typing sometimes...Electric blankets we worship and cuddle like a new kitten.
Come on up North we'll teach ya how to stay warm, lol....
Sorry your having this newbie cold bone knocking body ache...a really warm/hot shower helps and towels and clothes hot from the dryer are heaven.
Hugs from up North,
Sue Bee
Yeah, I get these chills, too, where I just can't warm up. It's like I am cold from the inside out instead of the other way around. I find that wrapping myself in my warm fleece blanket, and drinking something hot, goes a long way towards helping me feel warmer.
I hope you find something to help. If not, try snuggling with your hubby and take his body heat :)
Hugs!
good luck xxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for the answers, guys, and HUGS from down south :)
And it's funny...I could walk out in -30F temps here in MN with out a coat wearing a t-shirt and not get that chilled....yet when I'm flaring...it's like that chills you get when you have the flu. Nothing gets you warm enough or fast enough....I could be bundled under all of the blankets in the house and it still doesn't help.
I suppose this is that "temperature intolerance" they refer to.
Even right now !
and it's hot here. It's really embarrasing to shop at the market with gloves on when it's 80 degrees, but I was dropping things because I couldn't feel my fingers.
I used to live in flip flops or sandals - maybe when it's 100 degrees I can wear them again:(
But yes - always cold, especially my hands and feet - layers and gloves - love them - blankets too!
